One Farmer's market ends - another begins...

Well our last Thursday Farmer's market at Mahaney Park in Roseville ended on Thursday for the season. It was a small market, but in a nice location. Here is my booth...

Tomorrow I begin my every other Saturday schedule in Auburn with my Foothills Farmers Market Association's market and am so excited! It is a large market that has been around for years. The setting is lovely, nestled amongst trees in the downtown Auburn courthouse parking lot from 8am till noon. Come by and say hi!

Daughter's Bridal Shower

This past Saturday I hosted an outdoor bridal shower for my daughter and all her guests. Was a bit worried a few days earlier as it has been blazing hot here lately. Everything turned out great as we were blessed with mild temperatures and a nice breeze. Ah.... Here is my daughter Brianna - she just turned 25!

I used my vintage embroidered table cloths for the tables - so girly and fun!
Brianna's friends brought decorations and made cupcakes. They also made adorable silk flower garland which we hung from the patio. Love it!

The cupcakes not only look amazing they were so yummy! Great job girls...

Only sad part was my 86 year old mother came down with shingles so was not able to attend. We missed you Oma! My sister and I took her a cupcake the next day...

Vintage Sheet Pillow Covers

Some of the vintage sheet fat quarter packs I made are still in my booth...tempting me to make something. So I made up a few pillow covers to show what you can do! I used 4" squares for this quick project.

Here is a photo of the backs. Also, in an earlier post on this blog I show a lap quilt I made using 4 1/2" squares of vintage sheets.

You know, fun with vintage sheets never ends!
